Hello to all

Gardening is the one activity that keeps me sane! Out here in West Texas, both can be a challenge - keeping sane and gardening. My primary job consists of teaching in the public school system here in Van Horn, Texas. After hours, my time is spent either gardening (mostly vegetables), selling on eBay or reading. Weekends are usually taken up attending my children's sporting events, playing gigs with my little Country band or practicing with the band for the next gig.

I've put off blogging for many years, preferring instead to maintain a group of websites (created mostly with raw HTML & CSS). The impetus to post a blog finally came with the need to share pictures with various family members - especially now that we've got two beautiful granddaughters!

So, I'll try not to be so boring (most of the time) and will begin posting pictures soon.
